Just what did this dog do to be killed? He was in his own place and bothering nobody. Shoot because it looks like it will attack? Don't they teach police how to react with animals? Apparently it's kill or be chewed up.
My sympathy is with the owner. He should be compensated to the utmost. The officer should have to put in 160 hours at an animal shelter and attend dog training classes so he knows animals. By the way, if I walked into his yard, would he shoot me?
