Glenn Beck was disdainfully dismissed as a loon and a fool when predicting the rise of a radical Jihadist caliphate in the Mideast. That event is now unfolding before our eyes.

Those grinding their feet upon Beck are the real buffoons, yet they remain in their prominent positions as pontificators of public opinion.

Glenn's "progressive" critics now advocate the legalization of marijuana, but lament our students' poor test scores. ("Stoned students cannot learn.") Ignoring history and the laws of economics, the progressive insists the national debt can be increased indefinitely without incurring inflation or insolvency; he embraces the failed tenets of socialism but vehemently denies being a socialist; he states, "There is no God, and thus no sin, then wonders why our prisons are overcrowded."

Tenure has become a shield protecting the philosophies of fools. The concept should be re-examined.
