Utah and Nevada law enforcement agencies are asking the public's help in bringing a bank robbery suspect to justice.

Washington City police spokesman Ed Kantor on Monday released an image capture from the Chase Bank security camera of the suspect, a white male believed in his late 40s or 50s with a gray beard and mustache.

About 5-foot-10, the man was wearing a yellow or tan short-sleeved shirt, khaki shorts and a blue baseball cap at the time of the holdup last Friday.

The man entered the bank at 715 West Telegraph Street in Washington City about 10:30 a.m., demanded cash from a teller and then fled in a white 1980's Jeep bearing Nevada license plates. The vehicle, possibly a Wrangler model, had silver running boards and elevated wheels.

Anyone who had information on this case is asked to call WCPD at 435-634-5730, or contact their local office of the FBI.
