Wild Wednesday - Red, White, and Blue: A Special Independence Day Program

Join Ogden Nature Center for a special Independence Day program and learn some interesting facts about Bald Eagles with the help of the center's own Bald Eagle, Des Ta Te. Then go outside and search for things in nature that are Red, White and Blue. Please meet in the Visitor Center.

Clearfield July 4th Celebration

Cleafield will hold its traditional Freedom 5K Run/2 Mile Walk (6:45 a.m.), parade (9:30 a.m.), and pancake breakfast (7-10 a.m.). The Fisher Park Festival will run from 2-10:35 p.m. and will include a "We've Got Talent" show, BMX demonstration, basketball competition, and performances by Kountry Boi, Charley Jenkins and Beyond 5. Clearfield City Freedom 5k Run/2 Mile Walk

The Clearfield City Freedom 5k Run/2 Mile Walk will take place July 4, 2014, kicking off the city's Fourth of July Celebration. Kaysville July 4th Breakfast

Kaysville July 4th 5K run/walk and 10K run

Every year the Kaysville Rotary Club holds its annual Kaysville Rotary 5K/10K Run for Reading. Every year, all funds generated from this race go to support various community projects. Visit kaysvillerotary.com for information.

Murray Fun Day 4th of July Celebration

The Murray Fun Days July 4th celebration will begin with a Lion's Club breakfast at 6:30 a.m., followed by a sunrise service, 5K and children's race, a parade at 8:30 a.m., kids activities and a car and bike show, and entertainment at the Murray Park Gazebo. Oakley Independence Day Rodeo and Celebration

Oakley will present its 79th annual Independence Day Rodeo and Celebration, July 2-5, 2014. Events start July 2 with a special needs rodeo at 4 p.m. followed by the PRCA Rodeo at 8 p.m. and fireworks. July 3 will feature the rodeo at 8 p.m. July 4 activities start at 7 a.m. with a 5K Race, followed by a parade at 10 a.m., patriotic program and barbeque, junior rodeo signup and kids activities after 11 a.m. and the rodeo at 8 p.m. and fireworks. July 5 activities will include a breakfast at 8 a.m., a horse pull at 11 a.m., co-ed softball tournament (all day) and the rodeo at 8 p.m. and fireworks. Park City July 4th Parade and Celebration

Take in a concert, catch the rodeo, and enjoy the 4th on Park City's Historic Main Street for the annual 4th of July Parade and a full day of activities, including a 5k run, pancake breakfast, parade, live music, rugby games, beer gardens and vendors followed by fireworks at dusk. Sugar House Arts Festival

The annual Sugar House Arts Festival will take place July 4, 2014, with booths presenting local businesses, crafts, food vendors and non-profit groups. Sugar House Pet Parade

Join the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce for the second annual Sugar House Pet Parade, July 4, 2014. The parade is a 1.3 mile walk with your pet and family to kick off the Fourth of July holiday. Air National Guard Band of the West Coast

Air National Guard Band of the West Coast will perform July 4, 2014. The concert will be followed by Brigham City's fireworks display after dark.

The Canyons July 3rd Celebration

The Canyons will present its annual July 3rd Celebration. The Celebration festivities will kick off at 3 p.m., when the grassy area opens for guests in front of the Mountain Stage at Ski Beach. Free family-oriented music and activities throughout the Resort Village will commence including multiple food and beverage outlets and more. West Jordan Independence Day

West Jordan's Independence Day events includes a Fourth of July Parade, free movie, and fireworks finale. July 4 events start with a flag raising ceremony at 9:30 a.m.; the parade begins at 10:30 a.m.; the West Jordan Band performs at noon; the PRCA Rodeo is at 7:30 p.m; the movie "The Lego Movie" hits the big screen at 9 p.m. and is followed by a fireworks finale at 10 p.m. Visit www.westernstampede.com for more information.

West Jordan Independence Day Rodeo

West Jordan's Independence Day events include a three-day PRCA Rodeo. Rodeo entertainment will include Hollywood Harris and his trick-roping son, Brinson James. July 3 is military night, July 4 includes a fireworks finale and July 5 is Pink Night, where the cowboys dress in pink to raise cancer awareness. Visit www.westernstampede.com for information.

Fourth of July Weekend Celebration

Join us July 3 from 9 to 11:30 p.m. for an old time dance. Learn how to dance polkas, schottisches, reels and marches. Refreshments will be served. On July 4, there will be food booths, games and talent shows. At 6:30 p.m., play a game of Rounders. This early form of baseball uses homemade bats and balls, but no mitts.
