The inaugural event featured hourly Jell-O fights and squeals of laughter. Jiggle Fest is aimed at honoring Jell-O one of Utah's favorite treats and its local cousins: funeral potatoes, fry sauce, and Dutch oven fare. A Thanksgiving Point news release said Jiggle Fest grew out of a summer tradition of Jello-O fights and sprinklers at the gardens. The popularity of the activity evolved from a Monday night activity into a Saturday festival celebrating all of the fun and the foods that are special to Utahns.
