Emilie Lybbert, center, of American Fork, sits down in the middle of a Jell-O pool to smear her best friend, Helen Kepo'o, with Jell-O as Thanksgiving Point Gardens hosted its annual Jiggle Fest on Saturday. The inaugural event featured hourly Jell-O fights and squeals of laughter. Jiggle Fest is aimed at honoring Jell-O — one of Utah's favorite treats — and its local cousins: funeral potatoes, fry sauce, and Dutch oven fare. A Thanksgiving Point news release said Jiggle Fest grew out of a summer tradition of Jello-O fights and sprinklers at the gardens. The popularity of the activity evolved from a Monday night activity into a Saturday festival celebrating all of the fun and the foods that are special to Utahns.
