To all the women of the Mormon church: Face facts. You are suffering from Stockholm syndrome, explained as a positive feeling toward your captors, often to the point of defending and identifying with them.

Don't think they are your captors? Think again. There are the many things you are expected to perform willingly and without stint or complaint, all without a commitment of full participation. If your priesthood holder or bishop finds you lacking, you can be threatened with the wrath of God.

Don't tell me you are not a captive. If "your" church will not let welcome you 100 percent with other members, it is time to go. Start your own church! Go forth. Be free.
