After burning for nearly a week, the Taylor Mountain Road Fire in eastern Utah has been contained.

Crews had reached 90 percent containment by Thursday night and hit 100 percent on Friday night, according to a tweet by UtahFireInfo.

The fire, 10 miles north of Vernal, began July 5 and grew to 3,126 acres. High humidity, rain and cooler temperatures on Thursday and Friday helped about 50 firefighters get the blaze out.

The cause has not been determined.
