I was shocked to learn that the LDS Church doesn't spend one nickel to support the Sons or Daughters of Utah Pioneers organizations. Not a cent! Our ancestors made all this develop here. Many died. It was a hardship to "grow" this desert state and start the spread of the Mormon religion worldwide. Wow! What the heck (to use the Utah phrase).

Almost all members of DUP and SUP are Mormons. How did this happen? Why does it continue? Most members also are on fixed incomes. Come on. Do the right thing. You have the money. This is shameful. The whole Days of '47 event is huge public relations for the church. Please help by putting something toward funding these worthy organizations.
