Plans for tonight: Metal 'All Stars'

• The All Stars Tour, featuring hard-rock bands, rolls into In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Bands on the bill: I See Stars, The Acacia Strain, Like Moths To Flames, Slaves, Mutrix, Betraying The Martyrs, Palisades, Sworn In, Upon This Dawning, Kublai Khan. Show starts at noon. Tickets are $25, at Smith's Tix.

• Real Salt Lake takes on the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer action at Rio Tinto Stadium, 9270 S. State St., Sandy. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at the Rio Tinto website.

• '60s legacy pop act Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone plays the Kenley Amphitheatre, 403 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton. Show starts at 8. Tickets, from $19 to $36, at the Davis Arts Council website.



• Two Nashville-based rock bands Diarrhea Planet and Those Darlins, co-headline at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Jawwzz. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.
