The Utes released their 2014 fall camp roster on Friday, and it featured — by our quick count — 16 names not listed on the spring roster or the known list of incoming freshman. Sources indicate two are not walk-ons. Those two are wideout Jameson Field and tight end Wallace Gonzalez, who comes to the U. from the Houston Astros. (We earlier reported wideout Tim Patrick was on scholarship, but he told The Tribune on Saturday night that he will walk on.)
Notable, perhaps, is that seven are listed as wide receivers.
Here's what we know and what we were able to find out with the help of Google.
Dylan Calhoun, No. 36 • A 5-foot-10 freshman defensive back from Waxahachie, Texas.
Tyler Cooperwood, No. 26 • A junior college transfer from East L.A. College, the 5-foot-10 wideout walk-on with the Utes. Cooperwood spoke with The Tribune a couple weeks ago about catching Utah coaches' eye after training with Shaky Smithson, Anthony Denham and Kaelin Clay.
Dominick Ela, No. 88 • A high school teammate of Travis Wilson, the junior played junior college ball at Saddleback College and billed himself earlier this summer as a possession receiver.
Jameson Field, No. 83 • Freshman wide receiver sat out last season but impressed at a Long Beach camp, enough that Utah coaches offered the 5'11, 188-pounder a scholarship.
Wallace Gonzalez, No. 86 • The 6-foot-5, 240-pound true freshman spent three years in the Houston Astros farm system after being rated as a three-star wide receiver in high school by Rivals.com. A source close to the team said Gonzalez will receive a scholarship.

Feke Kioa, No. 76 • Hailing from Kona, Hawaii, freshman defensive tackle is listed at 6'1, 311 pounds. See Kioa's highlights here.
Tani Lehauli, No. 38 • Former Granger running back is 5'11, 208 pounds. Lehauli, who will be a freshman, was a workhorse for Granger as a junior in 2012, but missed his senior year. See Lehauli's highlights here.
Chase Loftin, No. 30 • Snow College wideout is a Spanish Fork native. He's 23, but still just a sophomore. Video of Loftin here.
Jawan Mathis, No. 37 • The freshman from Haines City will play wide receiver. Here are some Mathis highlights.
Danny McCormick, No. 37 • A 6-foot, 201 pound defensive back, McCormick is from Trabuco Hills, Calif., and is 22 years old.
Nick Mika, No. 27 • Katy, Texas, freshman is 6-foot-1, 184 pounds and listed at free safety in his highlight video, seen here.
Zach Olson, No. 66 • Freshman kicker is from the same California high school, Mission Viejo, as former Utah receiver Sean Fitzgerald. Olson highlights.
Tim Patrick, No. 81 • Dual-sport athlete will vie for football scholarship at the U. Listed at 6-foot-5 by Grossmont College, he was an all-conference wide receiver and a second-team all-conference basketball player. He caught 61 passes for 964 yards and eight touchdowns. Patrick highlights here.
Logan Stott, No. 67 • A four-star lineman out of Pine View High School, Stott originally signed with Arizona but sat out last season and will walk on this fall with the Utes. Kyle Goon caught up with Scott about his plans in May. As for his eligibility, he is listed as a true freshman, indicating he would have five years to play four.
Michael Welsh, No. 63 • Snappers matter. The Utes picked up another one in the 5'10, 230-pound freshman from Peoria, Ariz.
