Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• The rebooted "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" made a whopping $65 million at the box office this weekend — and, yes, a sequel is slated for 2016. [Box Office Mojo, Entertainment Weekly]

• The weepie "The Fault In Our Stars" won seven Teen Choice Awards last night, and star Shailene Woodley was a multiple winner for that and "Divergent." [The Hollywood Reporter]



• Menaham Golan, the Israeli-born B-movie producer responsible for such '80s movies as "The Delta Force," numerous "Death Wish" sequels and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace," has died at the age of 85. [Washington Post]
