Letter: Lockhart not qualified for this

I'm beginning my 29th year as a public school teacher. I have BAs in English and French, and an MA in Linguistics. My children and I have been cared for by professional nurses over the years, just as RN Becky Lockhart and her children have been cared for by professional educators. Following Ms. Lockhart's logic, I'm as qualified to be a nurse as she is to be state superintendent of Education..
