Plans for tonight: Arctic Monkeys chill at Saltair

• Sacramento-based rocking blues masters Rick Estrin & The Nightcats will celebrate the release of their new CD, "You Asked for It ... Live!", at Bleu Bistro, 1615 S. Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $15; info at the venue's website.

• English indie-rock band Arctic Monkeys performs at Saltair, 12408 W. Saltair Drive, Magna. Opening act: Mini Mansions. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $42, at Smith's Tix.

• Garage rock-blues folk band Leopold and His Fiction will perform at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Marinade, Rick Gerber, The Nightcaps. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.

• Sleaze metal band Faster Pussycat performs at The Royal, 4760 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Bullet Boys, SevenTKing. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $12, at Smith's Tix.
