West Jordan police are asking the public's help in identifying and locating a man suspected of committing lewd acts last month at the Asian City Market at 1653 W. 9000 South.

At about 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 7, the man spent almost 25 minutes following a female employee throughout the store, at times exposing himself and committing lewd acts.

He is reportedly a regular customer and may live in the area.

The suspect is described as being a very heavy set, white male, 250 to 300 pounds, with dark hair, who appears to be 25 to 30 years old.

He was dressed in a dark sleeveless T-shirt, dark-colored sports-style shorts and dark flip-flop shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the West Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000.

Callers may reference case number 14H011408.
