Even though quarterback Chuckie Keeton was hobbling at times in the final minutes of the Utah State-Tennessee game, coach Matt Wells has insisted his quarterback was healthy, snapping back with a "100 percent, next question," reply when asked about Keeton's health following the loss. However, Idaho State coach Mike Kramer isn't buying it. Kramer said during the Big Sky conference call that from what he saw in the Tennessee game, Keeton isn't healthy enough to be effective and believes the Aggies will limit their offense as a result. "In my opinion it's too early from his ACL injury," he said. "It's a head scratcher for Utah State and us because he is dynamic as a person and a leader and he has run so favorably through his career but that is missing right now. I doubt they will try to attack us like they normally would." Keeton rushed eight times against Tennessee finishing with 12 yards. He was 18-of-35 passing for 144 yards and a touchdown, but threw two interceptions and was sacked once. Wells didn't address Keeton's health during his press conference on Tuesday, but said Keeton's performance was "not great, not bad." "He did some stuff really well," he said. "We have to clean up some eye control and footwork stuff. It seems like I say that a lot with him, even on the games where he does really well. That's the standard we've set for him and that we're going to continue to meet. It's not going to get lower. There were some balls I know he wishes he had back. There are probably some calls we wish we had back. He'll play better."
