The Aggies are making sure they keep local talent in the Aggie family with Levani Damuni, a sophomore running back at Mountain Crest, committing to Utah State Sunday as part of the 2017 class. Levani is the son of Waqa Damuni, the Aggies' assistant athletics director for football operations and former USU player. Waqa played tight end for the Aggies from 1996-98 and was a part of the Aggies' back-to-back Big West Conference Championships. The Aggies were the first offer for the 6-foot-2, 196-pound Levani and he quickly accepted. Sometimes when recruits commit so early in the recruiting process they change their minds several times before their signing date or other schools will try and sway them to de-commit. This one though seems rather solid, don't you think?
