St. George firefighters rushed to the scene of a preschool blaze Monday afternoon, but no injuries were reported.

Public safety dispatchers said the 911 call on the fire at the Head Start Preschool, 494 E. 900 South, came in at 1:17 p.m.

All the children and staff were safely evacuated.

Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.

Determination of the cause of the fire and damage estimates were pending.
