Utah's new biggest pumpkin weighs 1,731 pounds

The 10th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off took place Saturday at Thanksgiving Point as part of its Harvest Festival.

Matt McConkie set a new state record. His pumpkin weighed 1,731 pounds.

The Utah Giant Pumpkin Growers has organized the annual event since 2005.
